B&H Concrete

Let me start off by saying that this was THE WORST customer service experience I have ever had in my entire life. Everything I am about to say is 100% true and not exaggerated. Stay away from this guy at all costs, read the reviews people have left him, they are there for a reason. I let him talk me out of believing the negative reviews on the website as he went on and blamed the customer which I now realize is not true at all. He basically stole $2100 from me and never even came close to finishing the job. I was looking for a simple 25x20 patio and somehow this guy Benny got a hold of me. I never signed up for any of my information to be given out but that is a problem I am having with this website Porch, who refuses to get back in touch with me. They claim that they offer you peace of mind every step of the way but that is a COMPLETE LIE! They are not returning any of my requests to speak to them, this site is not to be trusted either! So back to Benny from B & H Concrete. Of course Benny requested half the money upfront before he did anything and then the other half as the concrete truck was pulling into my street. (Again, stupid mistake trusting this guy but i I gave him the benefit of the doubt and paid as he requested). So the concrete truck came to my house, destroyed my yard, poured the concrete which was super cheap concrete to begin with and he waited too long to flattened and shape it so It dried up, cracked, misshapen, pours coming out of every corner. and now there’s nothing he can do about it. It looks absolutely awful. He keeps on telling me he is going to come back to fix it and throw “port” on it but never does. One morning he said he didn’t have a car, so I told him I would give him a ride because this patio is so incredibly embarrassing for me. I get to his house and he is nowhere to be found. Finally his roommate said he is sleeping and he can’t wake him up. I walk into the house and wake him up and he claims it’s not a good day for him after he specifically asked me to come get him and I drove 1 hour each way to get him. The guy lives in absolute squaller. After that this guy even had the nerve to ask me for $1000.00 so he can get a truck. Like are you freakin kidding me?? Weeks and weeks went by and my patio was not even finished and looked like absolute trash, Benny said he would finish the job in 2 days. Obviously I had to turn to other concrete companies bc B & H Concrete has no idea what he is doing. Every company that came to my house laughed and said that I was robbed. Nobody would touch the patio unless is was broken up and hauled away so they could start fresh . My HOA saw my patio and requested that something is done immediately or I would be in violation. Guess what? I had to break up the patio good old Benny laid down and pour a new one from a concrete company that actually knows what they are doing. So my $2100 job has now turned into an $8000 job. AND WHERE IS PORCH?? NO WHERE TO BE FOUND!! How’s that for porches peace of mind promise that they offer you! Bottom line is that I WOULD HAVE NEVER MET THIS GUY IF PORCH NEVER GAVE HIM MY INFORMATION! I never submitted anything or agreed to anything about shopping my job around and giving out my personal information. It says that Benny is not verified by this company so I ask you PORCH, why in Gods name would PORCH give my information to somebody who has not been extensively verified by your company? The way I look at it is PORCH owes me $2100.00. You should never let somebody like Benny, the owner and only worker for B H Concrete represent your company. He is a liar, he completely took advantage of me and stole my money because this company gave him my information when I did not authorize it. The only reason why I accepted his offer was because the offer was better then anybody else’s. Come to find out it was your company that gave him my information illegally. I demand some sort of money refund either from PORCH or B H Concrete. I want nothing to do with B H Concrete, I never want to see him or speak with him again so that’s on this company to deal with him. I will do everything in my power to rectify this blatant robbery. BE CAREFUL WHO YOU DEAL WITH!!
