I have used Dan Adams Electric Svc exclusively for the past 2 years now. Most recently, we used Dan to help overcome some home inspection issues that arose when selling our 2nd home; the home inspector provided 3 electrical items needing attention. The original electrical work in our home was done by a well-known, well-established, multi-state homebuilder – and our home failed the home inspection when I tried to sell my home. I hired Dan to correct the issues of the home builder. Dan meticulously went thru the failed aspects and, because he truly cares about his work, he checked out other areas of the home that gave him concern and corrected those issues as well. He set aside 3-4 hrs for our job. However, he ended up staying 7 hours to get the job done so we could meet closing and have a home that not only met code, but went beyond minimum requirements for safety. I truly believe his personal standard for his work for his clients is the same he would have for his own family. After working straight, 7 hrs on our jobsite, he then refused to charge me the full amount of what he should have! We passed the home inspection - but moreover, I saw firsthand how Dan refuses to cut corners to save money or time if it means a lesser result for the homeowner. No, he doesn't stay on the phone or text constantly because he works for a living - but he has returned every single call at his first opportunity that we ever made to him. He values his customers and we value his reliability, his thoroughness, his honesty, his integrity and his skill. We trust no one else -- and I say this after going the rut of hiring several of the big-name, local family-owned franchise electric services that have one licensed electrician on the payroll and reliably send someone who is not a licensed electrician to work on their customer's home (which is legal in our state). I wouldn't trust just anyone to work on my home ever again after what we went thru with others who consider themselves electricians yet produce inferior work with hazardous results at superlative rates. Dan is doing things right. He is honest and hard working. He charges a fair rate. Before hiring Dan, I’ve typically had to have three or four (very costly) service calls on the same issue before it seemed to be fully resolved. Since hiring Dan, I've never had to have anyone go behind Dan's work because when he does the job, it's done right the first time!

Please do not even consider hiring this electrician!!! Dan Adams and his crew were hired by my builder to do the electrical system for my new construction. Dan Adams was the worst part of my building experience. Dan is a quiet but relatively cordial electrician. Unfortunately, he is incredibly slow at completing his work, and the slow speed at which he completed projects during the construction of my custom home was single-handedly responsible for delaying my home's construction. Several times I reached out to him during the build, and on only 2-3 of the 10 or so times I reached via text out did he reply. Once, when I emailed him a detailed diagram of what wattage lights go where, he completely ignored my email. When my builder was able to contact Dan to have him come complete tasks he either did not compete or completed incorrectly, Dan would fail to show up without explanation on more than one occasion. In addition to his slow pace and completely unreliable schedule, he poorly wired several areas in my house causing my builder to have to hire an additional electrician to complete the project. I used Legrand lighting, which Dan begrudgingly learned for the job. In attempting to contact Dan to complete a few items after the construction was complete due to Dan's prior use of the product, Dan committed to coming back to my house only to then ignore future texts and calls. In speaking with my builder about my frustration with Dan Adams, my builder notified me that Dan's poor performance lead to him making the decision not to use Dan on any future projects despite a 10+ year relationship between them. I would advise future builders to stay away from this man and his company, and I would caution people who might hire him to think twice due to his poor workmanship and communication.
