C & S HALL CONSTRUCTION, LLC

Our experience was just as bad or actually worse that Mr. Casao's experience. We were renovating our whole house so one can only imagine the amount of bad workmanship and price gouging we endured until the Chief Building Inspector for the City of El Paso inspected our home and found numerous code violations. The city of El Paso actually made Mr. Hall cease and desist all work on our property until the code violations were remedied. He never did so and we recently have obtained a judgement against him for the amount of damages that he caused. If anyone decides to take a chance on Mr. Hall, you have been warned!

C & S Hall Construction, LLC, owned and operated by Stuart Hall, 6621 Mesa Grande, El Paso, TX 79912, was hired to remodel our home. If you value your home or business and you want quality work for the money you will pay, use another contractor. Our home is a well-documented disaster (http://rcasao.wikispaces.com/Hall+Construction). Stuart. Hall delivered cabinets of the wrong color and poor quality (crooked drawers/doors; drawers do not close properly, trays do not pull out; cabinet extends across the sink). The floor was not installed with a level and the majority of tiles must be replaced. The door to our new pantry is cut incorrectly and cannot be framed properly. All hallway doors do not close properly. Two new walls Mr. Hall installed are crooked. The pony bar is not level and is supported by a stick. Our kitchen has no running water and no operating stove. We have no lights or fans in the den. All electrical outlets and light switches are open. Three independent contractors have inspected Stuart Hall and C & S Construction’s work and recommended the replacement of the cabinets and the flooring. Mr. Hall’s cabinet expert recommended new cabinets. The documented cost to fix our home is $31262.25. Stuart Hall did not acquire the proper structural, electrical, and plumbing permits for the work to be performed and was cited by the City of El Paso, the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, and the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners. Stuart Hall has ignored our requests to have the structural beam installed in our home properly inspected. I cannot recommend C & S Hall Construction and Stuart Hall as a contractor or subcontractor.
