If I heard it once, I heard it a thousand times from my mother growing up: "Scott, you've got to live up to the "Goode" family name." It wasn't always easy growing up-I was ornery and rowdy just like any other boy. A few of my teachers probably wanted to change my name to "Pain In The Neck." But as I got older and started out in my career, I quickly found that "The Golden Rule" really does apply in business. I started this company in 1992 with the family name as reminder to do the right thing, regardless of the cost. We treat people right from start to finish. We don't play games or apply sales pressure when giving quotes. We meticulously plan our projects to minimize the install time (as little as 3 days for kitchens!), and we almost always finish at or below the agreed upon budget. Now, 20+ years after starting, we've completed over 7,200 projects for happy customers all over Nebraska & Iowa - all to rave reviews. In fact, we have the highest BBB rating that they can give. Even after 20+ years, our philosophy has remained the same. We're the Goode Guys. In name and in practice. I think mom would be proud.
