CLOUSE FLOORS

I could not have selected a worst company to refinish our hardwood floors. Dan Tremble and Clouse Floors promise and guarantee excellent workmanship and professionalism, but they don’t deliver. The multitude of problems we encountered included: (a) their workers breaking a very expensive art glass piece; (b) improperly applying the wax, resulting in a plastic-like finish; (c) applying the stain so sloppily that we had to have our painting contractor repaint the baseboards, door casings and balusters; and (d) ignoring our repeated requests to remedy the problems they caused. Read your contract carefully, as there is a reason Clouse Floors expressly tries to limit the customer's damages and remedies. Not only was the work unprofessional and substandard, Dan Tremble and Clouse Floors completely mishandled our requests to rectify the problems in an amicable manner.
