Note: I have changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars because on 10/14/2024 they finally finished the work. Similar to another reviewer, my experience started out very good with Otto and crew. They showed up and worked hard. Unfortunately, it took many (and I mean many) months for Otto and crew to come back and do the joint caulking on my driveway and RV pad. He made many promises to come and complete the job, but always had an excuse for not showing up. Otto did show up on Oct. 1st and we re-negotiated the price (more money) so that I could get the job finished. I see so many other good reviews, it’s such a shame he doesn’t always honor his commitments.

Similar to another reviewer, my experience started out very good with Otto and crew. They showed up and worked hard. Unfortunately, after more than four months later, they still have not finished the job, and it doesn’t look like they ever will. He told me it would only take one day to finish, so how bad could it be. I was also told that he had already purchased the material. But I have not seen any it. I trusted Otto and thought he would be back as soon as we had a little better weather, so I paid in advanced. My Bad! To add insult to injury, I had to put up with all the excuses about why they did not show up and promises to be here “next week” or “tomorrow” . I believe he went through 9 excuses overall. The only excuse I did not hear was that his dog ate the schedule or notes. Do you really want to hire someone like this ? When I did finally see Otto and he told me how he was going to fix my driveway, it became apparent that he had no idea of how to do it, which explains why he probably under-bid the work and did not want to come back and do it. Or was it that he already had my money ? Since I at least insisted upon getting some written receipt/work orders, maybe my next step is small claims court. I see so many other good reviews, it’s such a shame he doesn’t always honor his commitments. Well, now that I think about it, Otto was always making sure I would be giving him a 5-Star review, even after all these delays and excuses. Unbelievable!
