Art Designs By Mayo

Mayo is a South Florida artist who specializes in life-size wall murals, stencil work, faux finishes and painted furniture. Her creative three-dimensional architectural creations grace many model homes and commercial facilities. Her faux finish walls and painted furniture take on new life with decorative painting techniques and an acute eye for detail. Mayo was born and raised in Venezuela, and moved to the US in 1980. She received her Master's degree in Accounting, but never quite felt like that was her calling. It wasn't until a few years later, after volunteering at her sons' elementary school, that she realized her gift and love of painting. Over the years, Mayo has kept to current standards and trends by attending many workshops, and is diverse in many media including oil, acrylic and pastels. Her artistic creativity, design sense and eye for color make her a valuable asset to local art lovers and interior designers.
