Homeowner wanted to enhance their city deck by adding a privacy screen and have railings match. The deck has a unique anchoring method that digs into ground during high winds and engineered around safety. Quoted $7500, but had a few change orders finishing up at $8000. The deck used a combination of Cedar and Timbertech Composite with a custom built gate to match design of railings.

This project include renovations of three decks at the same property. The first deck was approximately 16 feet high and had a tree stump in one side of the deck. This had to be removed, with wood rot deck boards before new wood installed and stained to finish. The second deck on the main house included a balcony with a footprint larger than house. We replaced all decking on balcony deck and 50% of existing deck with modification to railings by removing a rear staircase that was not to code and did nothing to enhance appearance of the home and view of backyard. This property sits on 6 acres north of Doylestown, PA.

They also wanted to update look of kitchen by staining the natural oak kitchen cabinet to a more trendy white and gray color for the island. This was done during renovation project that took approximately 5 weeks.

They opted for a rustic look using reclaimed wood, custom barn doors, painted ceiling with retro industrial lighting and carpeting rather than wood flooring.

Customer had his deck rebuilt the previous season (2018) and contract us to stain. The decking was installed too close together making it hard to get proper coverage, we opted to spray and roll but faced with a challenge of controlling overspray. Deck is elevated and having spray particles travel was a concern, we came up with a easy masking technique easy to set up and repeatable. The end results were stunning and deck board looked like composite when finished.

Customer had a rental property with two rear decks on first and second floors. Deck were not up to code and sketchy design. We replaced all wood rot and reinforced frame and changed railing design to meet code and do easily receive a CO from the town. Customer stained the next season since they opted to use pressure treated lumber rather than cedar or composite.

Project was completed in 4 days using Benjamin Moore Regal Paint. The second phase occurred a year later to create a guest bedroom in the finished basement, taking 7 days to complete.
