Smith Painting began operation in 1996 with one employee, me, Sean Smith. I ran it out my one bedroom apartment and had a Ford Probe as my work van. I ran the company then, and do now, as an integrity based, honest painting company. I consider it a privilege to be invited into a clients home and help see a homeowners vision through to completion. Although I have had opportunities to grow the company larger than what is currently constituted, I have chosen to carry 6-10 employees in order to be able to stay better connected to my clients. I believe in being a visible presence at all of our projects.
