DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE STOLEN FROM! We are $2553.95 lighter thanks to Quentin and his scams. On March, 4, 2022 we hired Quentin Hill operating under Superior Smart Homes to complete some Audio Visual Work in our home. He came to our home and started off strong. He did amazing work and for a seemingly reasonable price. Then, on April 19, 2022 after having been paid $3074.72 via Zelle for the work that he had completed thus far, he stated that we needed an additional piece of equipment to complete the job. He was paid $1532.37 via Zelle as 60% down on an Episode Amplifire 16 channel. He advised that it was on backorder and that he would let us know when it had been ordered so he could complete the job. On May 25, 2022, we were advised by his assistant that the item was now available and to pay the remainder of the purchase cost and then tracking would be provided to us once it had been ordered. We paid the remaining $1021.58 and awaited confirmation and tracking. We never heard anything that day, so I followed up the following day, and no response or tracking information was provided. Another inquiry was sent in the following days and the only response received was that he had received the remainder of the money and that he would be in touch to install the amplifier, no tracking information was provided. He had three missed appointments to come and install the amplifier, due to various reasons and excuses before we began to become suspicious that there was no amplifier and that we were not going to see it or our money again. Quentin would continue to drag this on in to August, at which point it was verbally agreed by both parties that a refund would be the best option. He stated that he would pay half on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 and the remainder on Saturday, August 20, 2022. Wednesday came and he offered an excuse that he was having trouble paying through Zelle due to his account being new, then Saturday even going as far as to say that he was having trouble with his bank and Zelle app to issue a refund which he would have to go to the bank to resolve. We followed up on Monday and he said that he had an appointment with the bank, we never heard anything back after this appointment. We followed Tuesday, August 23, 2022 and he stated that he was in a meeting and that he would have to get back to us. Then all communication or response from him ceased despite several attempts by us to reach out to him to get the matter resolved. Throughout this entire process he continued to produced lies and excuses to such a degree, that we are not sure that he even knows what the truth is anymore. We are now in the process of taking this matter to small claims court as this is now a matter of theft, he was paid $2553.95 for an item that was never produced and all attempt at resolving the issue have failed. This is no way to conduct business or treat a customer. After doing additional digging, it seems that there are others out there who he has acted in a similar manner with that were never resolved as no further action was taken. We want to warn all who consider hiring him to be aware of the activities that this individual who operates under Superior Smart Homes out of Spring, TX as well as SkySpeed Innovations out of Orlando, FL is engaging in, and the theft that is going on in his business dealings by innocent unsuspecting parties. He may not do it to everyone, but do you want to take that risk?

We had this company do some work at our house. We foolishly paid for a receiver that Quinton (the owner) said he would buy and install. We are pretty sure he never bought the receiver and pocketed the money. After 2 months of outlandish excuses and not returning phone calls, he stole $2553.95 from us. We gave him every opportunity to pay us back and was more than patient with him. We found him on Home Advisor with good reviews. That's why we hired him. But turns out Skyspeed has the worst customer service and will take your money and run. That considered, a Class A Misdemeanor in Texas, punishable by up to one year in jail and a $4000 fine. Theft between $2,500 and $30,000 is a state jail felony. We hope this review helps others to avoid this company and find another company that is reputable and local to you. By far the worst experience by anyone in AV we've ever dealt with. Don't let the positive reviews on the web fool you like it did us. We hope this finds Skyspeed Inovation
