One year ago I bought a brand new HVAC system from them. Last week the heat strips burned out and were replaced. On Wednesday I called and told them there may still be an issue. Well they came out while I was at work on Friday but didn’t let me know they were here. Today, going under the assumption that the unit had not been checked yet, I called again to see if anyone could come out. The woman who answered the phone started off nice enough but when I explained to her that there may be a short in the thermostat that is causing the heat strips to continuously run, she insisted on explaining over and over that it’s cold outside and the strips should be on. In the end she tells me “you are just running us to be running us. I don’t know why but you seem to think we have nothing better to do. There are people with no heat so I’m going to be like Judge Judy. I’m not sending anyone, you don’t need to be running us. You’re already being charged $375 and you’re just going to run up your bill.” At this point I informed her that I was still under warranty and there should not be a charge. She replied with. “ I decide who gets charged and who not. You’re getting charged $375.” I gain informed her that it was under warranty and if I get charged I would take them to court. She then screamed “go ahead then” and hung up on me. I then went to the office where I spoke with one of the three owners. I explained everything to him but he kept skating around the issue with the woman on the phone. When I asked for an apology he told me that he gave me one. I simply explained that I would like one from the actual offender. At that time she came out of her cubicle and began her crap again. It turns out she is the wife of one of the owners I was speaking to. So basically at Center Heating customer service means nothing. This woman talks to customers like dirt and will get away with it every time because she’s the boss’s wife. I guess if you don’t mind being treated like crap then it’s ok. If you want someone more professional, I strongly suggest finding another company. If there were any way I could transfer my warranty, I would. I totally regret ever having bought my system there.
