Hardwood floors: Did not install correctly leaving gaps and staple marks throughout the wood, never finished the transitions, fill in door with wall, unable to smooth enough to make it look like a door was not there, could not replicate the swirl texture - never finished and could not properly cut crown moulding installed strange chair rail moulding instead of floor board and paid extra to remove old deck and haul away - took forever to cut of wood and didn't finish haul away. Worst of all kept asking for more money "for materials" and did not offer receipts or keep track of payments, ended up costing way too much for a terrible job that remained unfinished.

TERRIBLE!!!! He was to do various interior repairs in one rental home & a repair to a wooden deck & porch column at another rental home. I had to hire someone else to complete the interior repairs because I had a city inspection in 2 days (he had the job for over 2 weeks). He totally botched the porch repair. The water intrusion problem I had was worse after he finished. The trim installation was incomplete & the pieces he did manage to put on were oriented wrong and held water up against the porch column.... he did not understand that. The paint job looked absolutely terrible & he got green paint all over the white trim. David Hesham - DH Construction - AN ABSOLUTE DISASTER

We had some floorbooards adjacent to our front double doors that had water damage from leakage underneath the doors. DH Construction promised they could repair the damaged floor in a seamless manner. I wish I could post the pictures of the "finished" job. The section that was cut was hardly seamless at all and looks incredibly horrible. We are embarrassed. We trusted DH Construction, and we were taken as fools. There were accidental cuts in the floor not being repaired, and we were told that the seam and cuts would be fixed with wood filler and stain and we wouldn't be able to tell. We just feel awful that we allowed our beautiful hardwood flooring to be horribly disfigured. Paid $600 so I guess we should have known better. I cannot believe Porch.com stands behind this. I will try to find some other site that I can review and post pictures. I can't speak to other areas of work DH construction may do, but please do not allow them to work on hardwood floors. And because of this, I would not accept any recommendations from Porch.com. Lesson learned the hard way.
