I interviewed 4 contractors to install 4 baseboard heaters and 2 bathroom heater/fans in my 150-year old house in Howard County. Rick, Master Electrician and owner of Green Electric, rapidly responded to my call and arrived on time on the chosen appointment date. He recommended that I run the electric outside and neatly tuck it under the siding boards rather than cause the extra destruction and expense of tearing large holes in the old plaster walls to run the lines. Additionally, he let me know that I did not need a new master panel as another contractor had told me (to the tune of $5k before the requested work had even begun) and the existing panel was more than sufficient to carry the electric load. His team took great care to run the line under the exterior siding to not be visible. They wore masks and were super polite and cleaned their work space so it didn’t even look like there had been contractors in the house. There was an issue with the slightly wrong size of one of the bathroom heater/fans within the existing hole and Rick just said, the job won’t be finished until everything is right. The team came back another day to replace the fan and install a more expensive one, no questions asked and no additional cost. I will say that Rick and Green Electric is absolutely the BEST contractor I’ve ever had working on my house and I’m planning to hire him for all my electrical work from now on. He saved me money and made great recommendations! Thank you Rick and team for your hard work and patience!
