About Classical Traditions
Since 1973, Classical Traditions has been designing custom homes nationwide with more than 600 projects in our portfolio. Projects include new homes, remodeling, additions, historic restorations and community planning. Company founder and president, Steve Allen Shard, AIBD was educated in classical, traditional and vernacular design at the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art. He specializes in "Universal Design for Comfortable Living" (c) and has won several national design awards for Universal design. Although Classical Traditions is listed under "Architects", Steve is not a licensed architect and does not profess or advertise his services as an architect. He is a Certified Residential Design Specialist and operates under Florida Statute 481.229. For our services, there is no other comparable classification in which to be profiled.
