Bartels-Missey Inc. (BMI) is a full service interior and exterior remodeling company, serving the entire St. Louis area and surrounding counties since 1980. Our staff consists of Doug Bartels and Steve Missey as the Owner Operators. Becky Rose as Office Manager. Phil Braasch, Todd Linneman, Rick Roth and Jeremy Torpea as Sales/Project Managers. In addition, there are twenty seven others serving as specialized carpenters and laborers to perform various work scopes. BMI is made up of the following four divisions: 1) Residential Remodeling 2) Service Division 3) Projects Division, and 4) Military Division. The residential remodeling division work scopes include bathrooms, kitchens, basements, room additions, decks, siding, doors, windows and other misc. remodeling. The service department includes wind damage, water damage and general small repairs to homes, condominiums, and apartment buildings. The project division includes interior and exterior remodeling and construction work on student housing, retirement and assisted living units, apartments and condominiums. The project division for the last several years, has expanded to work in other parts of the state and includes the surrounding states of Kansas and Illinois. We are currently in the process of expanding nationally in this department. The military division was started in 2006 and works throughout the state at Lambert, Jefferson Barracks, Fort Leonard Wood, Camp Clark (Nevada), Camp Crowder (Neosho), & Rose Cranz (St. Joe). Our most recent expansion includes Scott Air Base, Illinois. We have performed various work scopes including hangar doors for Black Hawk helicopters, construction of machine gun ranges, remodeling of barracks buildings, Hum-Vee rollover simulators and construction of a Forward Operating Base to ready our troops for the Middle East.
