MARC O'GRADY DESIGN | MOD is a full service residential architecture + planning firm specializing in creative solutions to meet the needs of the lives we live. At MARC O'GRADY DESIGN we believe that design and construction should be intertwined with the dreams of our clients. Our approach is centered around building strong relationships through honesty and integrity while working together with our clients to translate their dreams into a creative design that will allow them to live life to the fullest. Our team is passionate about design and construction and we have immeasurable hands-on experience in both fields. We work side by side with only the best contractors to create a fully integrated design-build process. This innovative approach enables us to maintain our clients' vision from the dream stage to the fulfillment of their completed project. Our talented and experienced team boasts an award winning portfolio of projects located in neighborhoods across the DC metro area including Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C. We also design projects located in the beautiful region of Northern Michigan focused in and around Traverse City, MI. We continue to expand our horizons and look forward to each and every new project. I was able to develop a passion for architecture and construction at a very young age by growing up in our family construction business. This allowed me a unique opportunity to build a solid foundation through hands-on experience working in the field of residential construction. I was able to gain a wealth of knowledge under the tutelage of my father, teaching me not only about the trade but also about working hard, being honest and creating lasting relationships. I then combined this invaluable experience with an education in architecture to begin a career in residential design. Throughout my career I have worked with a variety of architecture firms both large and small. The afforded me the opportunity to fine tune my design skills and learn to create and develop relationships with clients and contractors. This experience ultimately led me to form MARC O'GRADY DESIGN and continue our family tradition of design and construction. While I have a serious passion for architecture and design, I also enjoy things like the great outdoors, mountain biking, boating, anything to do with snow, and adventures with my wild and crazy family.
