Cool Chez

We purchased a renovated home with new addition. The AC system, brand new, was installed by Cool Chez. Almost immediately after moving in, we had problems with the system. It was not cooling certain areas of the house. We contacted Chez to come out but he kept putting it off and was completely unresponsive at times. He finally came out but was unable to fix the problem. Then, the condensate line clogged and flooded through the ceiling in our dining room. This happened because the drain pan leaked through an improperly installed pipe, and there was also no float switch present. Chez came out after the leak and unclogged the condensate line but was still unable to fix the original problem: the house was not getting cool. Finally, after numerous unsuccessful attempts to work with him, we decided to go with other contractors. I had two other techs out to look at the system: both identified poor workmanship from Chez's install. They were able to fix the system without trouble. I would never go with Chez again. He is full of excuses, does not honor his warranty, and will create more problems than he solves. I have worked with a dozen or more contractors: this was the worst and least professional experience I have ever had.
