AAA AUGER

Called AAA Auger for a price estimate on replacing our PRV, and had a morning appointment scheduled with them between 8am-12noon. Not only did they not show up within that 4 hour window, but didn't take responsibility for their mistake. When I called in to check, I was received with hostility from both David and Andrea, who repeatedly told me that they cannot estimate when their "dispatch" will be able to arrive and told me that it's because they are "inundated" with work. Andrea even hung up on me mid sentence when I suggested that they consider using a scheduling tool to estimate work hours so that they can be more accountable towards customers. I would recommend Strand Brothers, who service the Austin area as well, and are not only timely, reliable, but extremely professional. Strand Bros showed up on time with a great attitude, assessed our water pressure, offered a comprehensive evaluation of our water issue from an ecosystem perspective, offered reasonable rates for replacing the PRV, and even recommended additional services that can improve our water and pipe quality, including financing options if we needed it. We are so impressed that we will even consider them for our HVAC repairs going forward. As someone dealing with this issue and exploring different plumbing service provider for the first time, I am shocked to discover the huge disparity in service quality, timeliness, technical competency, price, and offering between different providers. After comparing 5 different providers, Strand Brothers stands heads and shoulders above others in all areas.

Excellent customer service. We initially had a bad experience with the first plumber that was sent out. I called Nick Gonzalez (the business manager) and let him know the situation. He performed a thorough investigation of the events and sent out another plumber a couple of days later at no charge to us. I spoke with Nick and David Cross, the CEO of AAA Auger, on a conference call and they completely rectified the situation. AAA Auger went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and made sure I was completely satisfied with the outcome. Excellent customer service.
