Modern Design Remodeling

My deck is 20 years old. Many boards were chipped and rutted and needed replacement. I had a couple of estimates and decided on Modern Design and Remodeling because they responded right away. Came out the next day to look at deck. Told me deck was sound but needed about 15 boards replaced. He went home and emailed me an estimate the next day. It was a fair estimate and he was hired. Of course there were problems because deck boards from 20 years ago measure a little differently today. That did not deter Modern Design. They had to cut the boards thinner and round edges to fit perfectly. This all took them a lot longer than they expected but I was not charged more. Also, they didn’t use all the boards so discounted them for me. When done there was a pile of old splintered wood which was totally cleaned up and carted away. I liked this young mans work ethics, his honesty and his reliability and most of all his finished job! I am planning on hiring him aygain. Loretta Waltemeyer
