He sets a certain dollar amount and charges you for it. He also must charge for travel time because both jobs he did for me he charged me for more hours than he was there. He is a really nice guy, however he took on a job that he was unable to complete so I had to pay him for work that he performed but didn't fix the problem plus someone else to do the repair.
