Jim is the most handy handyman I've ever hired! I've used him twice now, and both times I was beyond impressed. His speed is literally unreal - I'm not even sure how it's possible to build and fix things as quickly as he does. He also has a very wide skill range, as he was able to complete quite a wide variety of projects I had him do. The first time I used Jim, I found him through a Groupon, and even though it was more expensive the second time, he is well worth the money! I had recently hired a different handyman, and the pace just wasn't comparable. Jim is also very friendly and helpful. He arrived early, which was great! Unfortunately, my experience with Jim Vadney was not helpful. He attempted to install a thermostat in my home, but was unsuccessful. After he left, I tried putting on the heat, but the heat no longer worked (it had been in working condition when he arrived). I tried calling him 4 times, yet he did not return my calls.

Jim Vadney has done several home improvement jobs for us since we moved into our condo. One of them involved transforming a closet into a computer station with cabinets, shelves, wiring, etc., a major operation. Other tasks were less extensive. In every case, Mr. Vadney arrived promptly with the materials and tools he needed. He finished when he said he would, and his work was masterful. He gave us an estimate in advance for every job and honored that estimate. We heartily recommend his work and his pleasant attitude while working with us and for us.

I had a missing downspout on my house (never installed). Athena M&C performed the job in under 2 hours and it looked exactly like every other downspout already installed.
