Our firm's projects vary from notable custom homes and renovations to boutique commercial projects, such as restaurants and distinguished businesses. 336 Rhoden Island Drive | Oct 2013 | This shingle style, marsh front home was recently constructed on Daniel Island, SC. The owners wanted to take advantage of the views, they wanted a lot of natural light, they wanted informal living spaces that flowed easily to outdoor living spaces, and they wanted clean lines. Although the home was required to be elevated, the owners were sensitive to the site and wanted to keep the scale of the house as low as possible. | Daniel Island, SC
187 Ithecaw Creek | Sep 2013 | The owners relocated from Iowa to Daniel Island in search of the wonderful lifestyle the coast offers. The home is a refreshing blend of southern charm with a refined and laid back expression. The cool sky blue and white trim of the exterior opens into a warm, light-filled interior of bright crisp walls, dark hardwood floors, and rich exposed beams. These details work together to create a timeless deign with large open spaces and an abundance of natural light. | Daniel Island, SC
171 Ithecaw Creek | Jul 2013 | The house belongs to an artist and artisan. The home extends a warm embrace that welcomes one in through a grand timber entrance way. Inside, each space offers a slightly different glimpse at the unique character of its wonderful owners. The upstairs painting loft, the robust study, and the light-filled kitchen all offer spacious environments ideal for the creation of beautiful things and everyday life. | Daniel Island, SC
Sailmaker | Jul 2012 | This 4,200 square foot marsh front home is located in Smyth Park on a double corner lot on Daniel Island. This young family relocated to Charleston from New Jersey and wanted an open floor plan where all the interior spaces made a strong connection to the outside. There are L-shaped porches on the front and back of the house and an additional screen porch with a fireplace for outdoor living. | Daniel Island, SC
Watroo Point | Apr 2010 | Having recently gone to Europe, where they loved the stucco buildings, these clients commissioned my firm to design their new home to reflect European design stylings. This Italianate style home has a marble foyer with curved stairs and a faint, distinguished mural painted on the wall. The dining room has an oval ceiling that lights up and pink velvet fabric walls. The living spaces are connected with arched openings that make the transition from space to space flow exceptionally well. There are multiple French doors that connect the interior rooms to comfortable living spaces on the brick piazzas that overlooking the golf course on Daniel Island, SC. | Daniel Island, SC
Balfour Drive | Aug 2009 | Situated on the 18th fairway of the Daniel Island golf course, this home is both elegant and livable. The large outdoor living space features a masonry, wood burning fireplace, slate floors, and built-in cabinetry. The home's dramatic elliptical stairway, with mahogany and wrought iron handrails, opens up to the third floor and draws guests into the foyer. Upstairs, the French doors in the master bathroom open onto a large second floor porch that offers unobstructed course views. | Daniel Island, SC
20 Iron Bottom | Jun 2008 | This award-winning, cottage style design is located on the golf course on Daniel Island, SC. One of the unique features that I love about this house is the way we positioned the screen porch on the side of the house. This design solution allows sunlight to filter into the sun room, provides privacy from the neighbors, and creates its own room with vaulted ceilings. | Daniel Island, SC |
