OUR INNOVATIVE APPROACH Managed Renovations combines the advantages of hiring a conventional general contractor (GC) with the benefits of being your own — an innovative, hybrid approach that empowers you to act as your own GC — without requiring you to actually take on those responsibilities. Initially, your Managed Renovations Project Manager will connect you with qualified, experienced, licensed, and insured subcontractors. We then provide and facilitate the necessary contracts to be executed between you, as the homeowner/GC, and the subcontractors. Using our client accessible, web-based, scheduling tools, your Project Manager then develops the schedules for, and provides the on-site supervision of, all of the subcontractors through the completion of your project!

Michael and Managed Renovations helped us with renovating a new house in Colonial Village. The work included a new kitchen, new master bath and closet, and various upgrades throughout the house. We had done some smaller projects with other contractors at our old house. Working with Michael was different for several reasons. Primarily, Michael cared that the work would be done right---probably even more than we did! Several times throughout the project, Michael consistently showed an attention to detail that went far beyond any of the other contractors we've worked with before. In addition to handling the work, Michael also suggested a lot of additions for our consideration. These included upgrading and replacing the (very old) HVAC and hot water heater, waterproofing our basement, changing the door in the kitchen, and replacing our deck. As a result of Michael's suggestions, we've got significantly more space than we expected. Michael's creativity was an added bonus. And the longer we live in the house, the more we've come to appreciate his suggestions---both the ones we took and even the ones we didn't. In addition to great work, the pandemic hit during the middle of our project. Michael and Nelson did everything they could to keep us on schedule, and when that was impossible for outside reasons, Michael created and worked with us on a revised plan to let us move in as soon, and as seamlessly, as possible. If you want your work done well, I highly recommend Managed Renovations.

Managed Renovations completed a major two-story renovation of our existing kitchen, family room, master suite (walk-in closet, bathroom and bedroom), and laundry room. Michael master-minded the project beautifully, bringing in each trade at the right time, overseeing their work, and addressing challenges (our house is old, so there are always those!) as they arose. His expertise and care of the details is exceptional. He takes pride in the process and workmanship, so the result is the one he would demand in his own home. We have been living in our renovated space for over two years now and love it. High praise for Michael, his dedication to the project and his commitment to achieving a beautiful and well-crafted outcome.

Managed Renovations has great subs and employees. Michael was calm, professional and talented. The most problem free renovation I have ever had-- and I have renovated 5 times. Can't rate the experience high enough and the end product was exactly what I envisioned. Very reasonable cost for a top notch product

We really enjoyed working with Managed Renovations on our kitchen remodel. Our project was a hybrid of upgrading existing conditions like refinishing cabinets and floors, new counters, some new fixtures, fresh paint, etc. They did a great job with the subcontractors they used and managed our budget and schedule. We would work with them again!
