Another thumbs-up for Jack and the crew at J Blanton Plumbing. Actually, I had to replace my 15 years water heater and they came and took care of it promptly. The cost was OK Well I guess nothing is cheap anymore that I understand but overall the job was done properly and the cost is justified.

J. Blanton Plumbing was very responsive to my service request, came out and fixed my flooding issue the same day. My water heater was 15 years old and burst at the seems to flood my basement. I called in a panic and they were there, extremely helpful and informative on my options, and installed a new Heater that same day. I recommend J. Blanton Plumbing to anyone looking for a quality, professional, and capable plumbing company.

Hyde Park Vintage Building Water Distribution Replacement | Sep 2015 | In a 100 year old vintage condo building in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood, there was very limited (and in some places NO) water flow out of faucets. We had been awarded the contract to remove the existing, rusted, and corroded galvanized steel water pipe with brand new copper "Type L" pipe. Using both solder and, new technology, Pro Press to join fittings. Adding ball valve shut offs on hot and cold sides to each individual fixture. As well as shut offs to all 5 sets of risers throughout the building. | $30k | Chicago, IL | |
Chicago Basement Flood Prevention Conversion | May 2015 | Constant flooding due to city sewer backup lead to customer seeking professional help and advice. We designed a system to keep the customer from ever flooding again by redirecting and disconnecting previous sources of backup. Installed cast iron pipe underground with a pit and pump, eliminating the source of potential sewer backup. | $10k | Chicago, IL |
