I have been in the electrical trade for 18 years. I am a fully licensed and insured electrical contractor. In the time I have been doing this, I have done work on high voltage transmission lines (via the military, United States Marine Corp) to grandma's 240 volt 30 amp Dryer circuit. I am school trained, and all of my work is geared to the National Electric Code, the NEC. Any and all work is guaranteed. Finally, if you think my prices are high, get a second estimate, if it is the same work scope that I am doing, and they are a legally licensed Electrical Contractor in the state of Ohio I will try to beat their bid. I know that there is a huge HANDYMAN influence in this state, and they may have done this forever and a day, but if the fire marshall determines that it was faulty workmanship, homeowners insurance will not cover damages, and I'm sure you know what caused the damage." Article 100 General Qualified Person The definition of “Qualified Person” was revised to read: Qualified Person. A person who has the skill and knowledge related to the construction and operation of the electrical equipment and its installation. This person must have received safety training on the hazards involved with electrical systems"

Our first encounter was a phone call. He talked both to me and my husband through steps to see what was causing part of our home to be without electric. Half of it was resolved. He is coming here tomorrow to see about fixing the rest. He was so knowledgeable, understanding, patient and humorous. I am very happy to have him work with us.
