Painter - Columbus, PA
I am a Shop/Technology Education Teacher with Warren County School District, specifically at Eisenhower Middle High School. I started painting a few small jobs last year and really came into enjoying the profession of painting. I started by doing a 2 story stairwell for Warren Forest Hi-Ed council and they found my work to be professional enough to offer me the rest of their 8,500 sq ft. building suite. I also paint every summer for my wife when she wants to update rooms in our house or anything else. I am offering free estimates on any painting service. I am still a small crew of 1 and when I can find the extra help I could have up to 3 people with me to assist on large jobs. I have the basic professional tools for painting, and rent other specialty tools when needed. I look forward to hearing from you!

Warren Forest Higher Education Council hallways, doorway trim, and window trim | Jul 2016 | Warren Forrest Higher Education Council is a Non-profit that contracted me to paint their hallways, doorway trim, and window trim. I was given one week to get the majority of the paint work done. After the week employees will start coming back to work. There was approx. 8,500 sq ft. of walls and 50+ doorways where trim needed painted. This was a large job I had myself and 2 painters for 2 days, and 3 for one day. We completed the major painting in 4 days, prep (washing, cleaning walls and trim), tape up (drop cloths on floor, doors taped off, ceiling taped and masked; commercial signage, fire alarms, exit signs, masked or removed for paint) and paint (Water based latex paint sprayed with airless sprayer on walls; Trim painted by hand DTM paint). We are currently working on doorway trim around Hi-Ed's work schedule so we do not interfere with their work, or have concerns about that "paint smell", you know that smell that painter's love so much! | Warren, PA | ||
Pool Deck Rehab | Jun 2016 | Just a little Pool Deck Rehab. Homeowner did not want to replace boards so I improvised by pressure washing and added filler material where boards were dug into from furniture, knot holes knocked out etc...1 day. Rented a floor sander and sanded boards down 1 day. Secured loose boards and painted 2 coats of Olympic Deck Rescue 1 day. Had a stretch of great weather so I was able to complete this project in 3 days. | Erie, PA |
