Kyle Miller began a remodel for us on April 21st with a proposed end date of 4 to 5 weeks.  The job is still incomplete as of July 7th.  The remodel of enclosing 600 sq ft of a 1200 sq ft garage, with 3 existing walls.  For a contractor of Kyle's caliber this should have been a walk in the park.  HARDLY!! Kyle is a one man team.  He is the WE In "we build arkansas".  We are left with half textured walls and half smooth walls, wavy (unlevel) floors, a half completed fireplace and atrocious textured ceilings as well as an unfinished and hazardous steps into the room. He used liquid nails to adhere the tiles to the fireplace and was going to use bathroom caulk for grout.  Unheard of!!!  Both are flammable and would have been hazardous to our home and family. We have since had professionals look at the work in the room and they have stated everything must be redone.  So what did we pay for??? Kyle may have some framing knowledge, however it was obvious he did not know how to paint, tile or finish anything.  Actually we question his framing ability since we have uneven floors .and have to be redone We do not recommend!!! Do yourself a favor ask to see his work in person.  Make sure he is bonded and insured.  If anyone would like to see some of the pictures of his work on our home look on houzz or I'll have posted soon.
