Joe was hired to paint the exterior of my home and replace the siding on the full east side wall. I paid for all the materials and half of the estimate up front. He showed up on Monday at 8 and left before 11:30am stating that it was too hot. As he took an exterior siding and paint job in August in Texas I was concerned especially with rain the forecast later in the week. Tuesday he showed up and told me of rain coming into the area I agreed there was rain coming and asked him to start replacing the siding that they had pulled off. They sloppily threw up siding with inaccurate cuts, gaps, nails pulled through, bowing pieces and left when the sprinkles started at noon. My husband called him that evening to discuss his work and he said he would fix it at his cost. He agreed to be at the house the next morning at 7am. He text me the next morning (Wednesday) and said they would be around after the rain was done. Friday morning rolls around and they finally show back up only to pack their tools and leave. He would only talk to my husband and said he didn’t see anything wrong with his work even after a very different conversation before on the phone. He quit the job leaving us in a mess and now won’t return any communication or the deposit of half our estimate even though he barely did anything and has cost us money in materials. Do not use this company or Joe for your home needs.

We contacted Joe from his advertisement on Google and explained to him that we wanted our garage floor covered with an epoxy coating. He said he could do it and it would be no later than the weekend after the next. We agreed and he said he would be in touch. He never called so we called him and he told us he would be there the following Wednesday. Never said what time and never called to confirm his coming and never came to our home to see the area he would be working on. He arrived mid morning with his son. To say that he was unprofessional in his appearance and demeanor would be an understatement. He and his son made a mediocre attempt at preparing the service and proceeded to paint on the epoxy. They did no taping off to avoid getting the epoxy on the walls, but why should he because he didn’t even paint all the way to the wall, he just went as far as the roller he was using would go. When he finished you could see bubbles, and roller marks where he had put the mixture on either too thick or not thick enough. It wasn’t mixed correctly so there were bad spots everywhere . It was terribly obvious that he had no idea what he was doing and really didn’t care if he did a good job or not. When we confronted him about the sloppy job he said he would come back the next day and go over it again. We realized that doing another BAD job over the already BAD job that was there would just make things worse. So we told him not to come. We purchased the same kit he did and although we were complete amateurs we were able to save the project and make it look nice. This man is Unsuitable, and he is not capable of the job he claims to be a professional at.
