Bang for the Buck! -Cabinet Resurface

Jan 2015

This young couple bought smart when they purchased a home in the very desirable Park Hill neighborhood of Denver Colorado. The problem became the overwhelming amount of updates needed for this 1920's home to make it comfortable and functional for the young family. Cabinet resurfacing, compete with all new full overlay doors, new drawer fronts and dovetail drawer boxes along with soft close "everything" brought new life to the sturdy boxes that were just not stylistically appealing any more. Quartz counter tops, a new sink, faucet and cabinet hardware and the fabulously popular arabesque tile along with fresh paint completes the project, at a third of the price of an all new kitchen. Another smart move!

Feature Walls Add Drama

Nov 2014

The building boom produced a large number of generously sized family homes in some of the most desirous neighborhoods in Denver, but often these builders skimped on details, leaving homeowners to consider "renovating" their near new properties. A powder room is often considered formal space, as it is typically used by guests and as such should reflect a higher level of finish. Adding ledger stone to the walls creates a feature and all new designer fixtures and a new paint color transforms this space from builder blah to designer stunning.

And while the Lowry neighborhood provided all the conveniences of walkable neighborhood, the product was basic production builder quality. This complete "rip and replace" includes a new island and brand new everything, including top of the line custom cabinets.

The "Convertible" Interior

Mar 2013

Inside this wonderful home the open design of kitchen/dining/family area allows for great entertaining, yet is a comfortable space for every day living. Multiple access points to the patios surrounding the main level create an open air feeling, much like a top down car ride, and completely conducive to our moderate, bug free climate.

Make My Footprint Smaller!

Jan 2013

A successful real estate developer downsizes from a large suburban manse into a popular inner city neighborhood offering lots of walkability, a generous sized lot and a very compact foot print. The first floor was completely adjusted to update to a more modern open floor plan with a kitchen centric focus and large French doors leading to a generous garden. Perfect for this empty nester who prefers a very indoor outdoor lifestyle.

We took the time honored classics, subway and penny tile, and added a jolt with the chocolate brown grout. Viola, we're instantly fresh and very cool while still relating to the style of the home.
