Your furnace should be cleaned every year or every two years at the most. A yearly furnace cleaning can catch small problems and fix them before they become serious repairs. It's like how changing the oil in your car may prevent a breakdown in the future. You should plan to have your furnace cleaned before you need it in the winter.
