Planning on installing a ceiling fan above our stairway (L-shaped one landing) to help even the temperature between the 1st and 2nd floors. We dont own a ladder tall enough or flexible enough to do the job with and were not exactly pros. Area of ceiling/stairwell is off an open hallway about an 8-10 square space. We have not yet purchased a ceiling fan but would like to choose our own for aesthetic purposes open to recommendations. Wed like a budget and a timeframe along with assurance of insurance licensing and any agreements/policies we should be aware of.
