When I was young, I was a member of 4H, where I learned to sew and developed a love of fabric and creating things with my hands. After graduating from Hiram College in Ohio, I worked in several industries, including insurance, as a teacher and a Paralegal, but my creative side was calling. In 2005 it was time to follow my dream of owning my own business. I kept coming back to my love of fabric and interior design. I decided to purchase a custom window treatment franchise. As the business continued to grow, I wanted to add more products and services than the franchise offered. After careful consideration, in 2010 I left the franchise and opened "Stepping Stone Interiors". In 2010 I attended Ashworth College and received an Interior Decorator certification. Keeping abreast of current trends in the design field is important to me. I also take classes and attend seminars at every opportunity in order to stay up to date. Over the years I've enjoyed working with homeowners and some of the area's best home builders on their model homes. I've also participated in the following - - Parade of Homes House - Dublin Women's Club Tour Home - MI Homes Design Center at Easton One very important element of the design process is the quality of the products and vendors. I am constantly researching innovative new products and building relationships with top merchants in order to provide the absolute very best quality in goods and services. My goal is to design a place you'll want to come home to, a place that makes you happy. Busy women that desire a beautiful home, benefit the most from my services. They have many demands on their time, whether from a career, family commitments, or community service. They are frustrated with trying to find the time to get everything done, including their decorating. They appreciate my concise, thorough, in-home consultation at their home, in their lighting, and at their convenience.
