The home we are purchasing from a person who started projects but never finished them. Its mosely cosmetic and needs new roof. Our lender wants us to have 1 contractor to finish up the work. Its a beautiful spot in Elmhurst. Several rooms and some great ideas for the kids. But the BANK AND WE ARE going thru HUD. The cost of the home is expensive and we estimate like 60 to 80k more to finish it up. Inspection was done and basically there’s just a bunch of odd things to finish. He purchased hard wood flooring which is in garage on pallets. The upstairs needs carpeting, it has a balcony which needs repair and a few doorways have porches that need repair. So our problem started when one general didn’t want to do work w another and yada! So SOS OR WE WILL LOOSE THIS unique home!
