SUBJECT: Negative Report For: Reliable Plumbing Company (Ramon Pagan, Owner) To All Concern: Let me start by quoting some of the reviews against Reliable Plumbing. Below is what Reliable Plumbing past customers have stated: 1. Thieves and dishonest 2. Horrible service 3. Horrible-ethics 4. Raymond is a crook 5. Disreputable crook 6. Extremely disappointed 7. Ruder 8. Condescending 9. Worst service ever 10. Avoid Reliable Plumbing at all cost 11. I always called Reliable but not anymore 12. Plumbers were appeared uncertain about how to do the job 13. Ray, the owner is a crook and thief 14. WARNING to single ladies Reliable Plumbing is a nightmare 15. Don’t hire these guys NOTE: The above comments can be found on “YELP.com”. I am a combat veteran: Now, let me share my experience about this company. YES, per above; totally agree the owner Ramon Pagan is a dishonest crook! FACTS: 1. Replaced a 40 gallon water heater. 2. Mr. Pagan send me a bill/invoice for $2,200.00 3. The invoice had no breakdown on parts, labor or how Mr. Pagan arrived at $2,200.00. 4. I, conducted a internet research on 40 gallon water heaters from Home Depot and Lowes and discovered this same water heaters are worth less than $600.00 each. 5. I, advised Mr. Pagan that water heaters are sold at Home Depot and Lowes for less than $600.00. 6. Mr. Pagan had the audacity to tell me that he purchases water heaters for $1,000.00. Q: Why would Ramon Pagan purchase 40 gallon water heaters for $1,000.00 when he can buy them for less than $600.00 at local plumbing stores. THIS IS LIE NUMBER 1! 7. In addition, Mr. Pagan’s plumbing Team took 5 & ½ hours (1200 – 5:30) to complete the job. Yet, Mr. Pagan advised me his plumbing Team was at the job site from (1200 – 7 PM). He was trying to “CHEAT ME” with 1 & ½ hours of labor. THIS IS LIE NUMBER 2! 8. Let’s do the math: $600.00 (Water Heater plus parts) + $130.29 (City Permit) = $730.29 $730.29 + $1,469.71 = $2,200.00 In summary: Mr. Pagan was charging me $1,469.71 for labor!!! 9. The above is a perfect example of a LIAR and a THIEF! 10. I, offered to pay Mr. Pagan $1,200.00 through my attorney and Mr. Pagan refused the offered. Summary: El Pasoans; Never hire this plumbing company!

The technician that the company sent was excellent. He was respectful, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about the work he was doing. He assessed the problem with our tub and looked at the options and proceeded to fix it. We highly recommend the company and if you do call them ask them to send Aidan.

I used reliable plumbing for garbage disposal replacement. The plumbers were very punctual, professional, and knowledgable. They finished the job in short period of time. The price was very reasonable. They cleaned after themselves. They explained all the questions. I would recommand reliable plumbing to everyone. Thanks. In November 2021, we had a leak in the slab foundation that was difficult to find. Once it was found, they fixed it after breaking concrete and digging a hole under the water heater where is was located by going in through the bathroom. Of course, it was expensive, but it was within reason considering how much work had to be done. We haven't had any more problems and would definitely use Reliable Plumbing again.
