Classroom Remodel | Jun 2015 | In this project we started by tearing out the old suspended ceiling and insulation, removing the carpet, and removing existing wall furnishings. Then had all of the electrical redone and a new suspended ceiling installed. My involvement was primarily in the flooring and finish work. I removed the existing carpet adhesive from the concrete sub-floor and laid new 24"x24" carpet tiles with a transition to the existing floors surrounding the room. I also skim coated the cinder block walls to prep them for a knock-down texture and paint. I installed new audio and projection systems for teaching purposes, and hung a new 10' white board in place of the old chalk board. | $1 | Enid, OK | |
