Put up a shed for me recently, and did a great job not just with the work, but also with explaining everything he was doing.
They did half the job, asked for most of the payment and promised they would come back in 3 days. I called in 3, 4, 5 days, no answer. Giving up, and hiring someone else to finish the job. Do not pay these guys in advance.
