Happy Camper Bar Car Construction and Installation | Dec 2015 | These clients purchased a vintage 1960's Airstream camper and had the original interior removed in order to convert the camper into a mobile bar and catering company. Their vision was to create a unique, attractive and comfortable space capable of serving large parties and private events. The biggest obstacle with this project was that all of the interior walls were curved both front to back and floor to ceiling. Each piece of furniture was hand crafted to fit perfectly in its place creating clean lines throughout the space. The client wanted a balance created between raw wood and fresh paint so the doors of the storage units and the surround of the seating area are maple, the cabinet facing is poplar and the cabinets are a hardwood plywood. The bar top is made from a slab of maple that was milled specifically for this project. We mounted the two tap towers and created a space for the drink lines to be run from the cooler, under the bar and then up to the towers. The doors, seating area and bar top were all sealed and finished using several coats of polyurethane. | Akron, OH
Pantry Addition | Sep 2015 | During renovation of their kitchen, the clients decided to add a walk-in pantry. I removed the wall, added a new header for support, framed out a pocket door, built a platform for the door, hung drywall, installed a tile floor, added two recessed lights, painted and created shelving. The pantry features lighting that is turned on when the door is opened and off when it is closed. | Akron, OH
Bathroom Renovation | Apr 2015 | This 1/2 bath was in desperate need of a face lift. The flooring, sink/vanity and door were all replaced. The walls required new drywall after the old wall paper was removed. Bead board was added and a new light fixture was hung. The linoleum flooring was replaced with ceramic tile. | Akron, OH
Deck Repair | Aug 2014 | The client requested that the rotten lumber around the corner of the deck and the on-deck planter be replaced. All of the rock and soil were removed from the corner of the deck during the repair and replaced and leveled at the end. | Fairlawn, OH |
