I was hired on by Eddie Gant to drive box truck for him. I was promised I would make $1300 weekly as I stated to him I need to make before jumping on a plane from Texas to Florida, which he payed for. I was assured even if he had to come out of pocket as he was just starting his business that I would get paid. Here we are 3 weeks later I helped unload a truck and he paid me $100 upon completion. I took 1 load and he turned down over 5 loads. Now I'm not being paid. He told me he'd pay me $600 Friday Oct 22 2021. Has not answered my calls. Shows he read the text but no reply. Would not work for him and would not use him if he's not going to pay his employees. I flew myself back home. Left his truck at the rental agency where we got it from. They told me he rented it for 2 days and that they were close to reporting it stolen. They were at the end of his extensions through his corporate account. Wouldn't answer their calls. Bad Business.
