WRIGHTS ELECTRICAL

We are an Energy Efficiency company out of Cincinnati specializing in commercial/industrial EE projects. We had a long (labor) lead time for a project we had in Cincinnati and looked for a contractor to sub out the work. We hired Paul and his firm to install over 700 LED fixtures in a commercial bldg.. He said he could handle it and was aware of the crew, travel and time it would take. They finished the job quicker than we had projected, then found out why. The majority of the work was not up to code (shortcuts up in the drop ceiling - no grounding, etc.) and the customer was livid. Even though Paul offered to "fix the problem", the customer did not want him or his crew on the property. We had to pay another local contractor to come in and assess the issues and fix the problems. That cost our firm over $15k. Plus, they damaged some IT Data equipment, broke the customer's vacuum all at a cost to us. Paul apologized and offered to "work it off" with future jobs, which we had made arrangements for - big surprise, Paul ghosted us and never showed or answered our calls. We tried to file claim vs. his insurance but that was denied. All we are left with is a lawsuit. PLEASE BEWARE OF USING WRIGHT ELECTRIC!!
