Handyman Dave

My name is David Hunsberger. I grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania where I learned the value of honesty, integrity and hard work. Growing up on a farm we seldom hired outside help for services that needed to be done but learned to do things ourselves. That was my training grounds for becoming a Handyman. We moved to Citrus Co from the Homestead, Fl area in 1997 and I became licensed under the name Handyman Dave. I am also licensed as Lawncare-N-More LLC and are a full service Lawn Care Company which I started in 1991 in the Homestead area. We are a family business. I like to say I raised my kids on the seat of a lawn mower. That instilled in them a good work ethic and taught them to earn money and pay bills at an early age. My Son still works with me and is a vital part of the business which will one day be his. He remembers the days in his early life when I would pay him 50 cents an hour to pick up debris. He has good memories of those days as do my daughters who used to run the mowers. In the late 80s I began to purchase Rental properties. This also equipped me to be prepared for the Handyman Services business. I have advertised my services as Handyman Dave, "the landlords friend." Over 10 years ago I hired Terry Roberts who was my former Pastor. Terry continues to work for me and is an excellent craftsman and is good with my customers. He still works for me about 3-4 days a week and continues ministering to his church. I am fortunate to have him. I also have my Son in Law working for me from time to time.
