Scam Artist! Do not hire this man unless you are asking him to change a light bulb.

I paid for Marvin and his son to come put our shower in. He showed up alone. He ruined the shower completely. Walls cut incorrectly, tub placed incorrectly, plumbing not put on correctly. He would not return our call and ran out with our money. He is a scammer!

The worst installer ever! This man will take your money and leave you with absolutely horrible results. Do not hire this man.

Marvin is a con-artist. After contacting the the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Office, I learned that the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania currently has no licensure or certification requirements for most construction contractors. This explains a lot because this man clearly should not be selling the services that he is selling. Since I am unable and unwilling to fight that fight, I will at least come here to inform ANYONE who may be considering hiring this man to do anything beyond hanging pictures in your house. RUN! Marvin is perhaps the most unskilled and incompetent tradesman I have ever seen. The shower he installed for me was absolutely awful in terms of quality. I literally could have done a better job myself and I know nothing about this stuff. When I asked him about it, his response was "you get what you pay for". Then when I tried to reach out to him, he gave the excuse that I have since learned he has been giving for years "I injured my back". It's funny that looking at the other reviews, he told that to another lady. I would suspect that this man has been ripping people off across the country and as soon as the heat catches up with him (like it is with RNB Installations), he changes the name and starts over again. LISTEN TO ME CLOSELY...do not focus on the name of the company, if you hear the name MARVIN MALDONADO, run!!! If Marvin attempts to BS a response like he has with some of the others, I will post the photos from my project which I'm sure will be telling. And by the way, his ONLY 2 good reviews are family members.
