This project in the San Fernando Valley shows how our ready-mix concrete can be shaped and molded to mimic the appearance of natural boulders. The textures of the stamped concrete, which we provided, seamlessly integrate with the surrounding landscape of this home in Encino, California. The ready-mix concrete that was placed is lightly colored to appear is if it had existed for thousands of years.

This concrete project for a private residence in Arcadia is true example of decorative, architectural ready-mix concrete in its most modern form. The bands have been washed using Top Cast number 03 in an integral color of Almond Beige. The fields of this driveway were poured with Antique Brass integral color and the surface was stamped with a random stone pattern using a darker release color to enhance the texture of the stamped concrete. The concrete control joints created individual square patterns, with the final project sealed with a medium gloss concrete sealer.

This concrete placement at a mid-century modern home in the hills of Pasadena exemplifies craftsmanship. The driveway was poured with strength fawn colored concrete, and the surface was seeded with an imported Del Rio stone. The surface was later washed during the placement process to expose the Del Rio stone, enhancing the color and texture of the concrete. The decking area and steps were poured with a strength fawn colored concrete, which was tightly acid washed to give the homeowner a slip-resistant surface without being too rough on bare feet.
