Catterall Plumbing

This guy is terrible. I purchased a townhouse a year ago that had all sorts of plumbing issues as a result of Catterall Plumbings poor work. I waited until my 1 year warranty with the builder was finished before writing this review. But here's the story with this guy. The builders said they'd have to bring in the plumbers to repair our leaking kitchen skink and the sink in our bathroom. The plumber was supposed to come out to our house. He canceled at the last minute, which is fine; I understand things come up. But then he called my boyfriend and said he wanted to come over in 20 minutes. My boyfriend was about to step out of the house, and asked me to schedule something for another day. The plumber then showed up to our house uninvited, expecting that he could work on the issue right there and then. I called within the hour, asking him if he could make an appointment to come another day. He was extremely rude to me, and was giving me one word answers....OK, OK, OK to every comment I made. When I finally asked him when he was available, he responded, "I was available when I showed up 15 minutes ago." Wow, just wow. You can't just show up at people's houses on a whim and expect them to have nothing else going on. After I told him that he probably shouldn't show up unannounced, I asked him if he could tell me when else he might be available, to which he responded, "I'll be back in that area in another 3 weeks." After that I dealt with the builder's warranty department. I waited 4 months with a bowl under my sink, when they finally agreed to send someone else out. About six months later, I had another issue with the kitchen sink. The builders called him in, and this time he came by to look at the problem when scheduled. He took one look, and said: "That's not my work," and left. They had to call in another plumber. I live in a 4-unit townhouse complex, and 3 of the 4 units had serious plumbing problems. One unit had to have their whole bathroom cabinet replaced because of rotting pipes. This plumber worked on all 4 houses. To top it all off, he has a bad attitude and is difficult to work with. Run, don't walk, to another plumber.
