Second Growth Homes

Second Growth Homes provides all services related to house construction. We serve the Juneau area as well as remote construction sites across Southeast, Alaska. From lot clearing and excavation, to finish trim work using local Timber, Second Growth Homes puts an emphasis on quality workmanship. We operate a logging and milling operation based out of Tenakee Springs, AK. We provide all species and sizes of locally milled timber, as well as our newest product, Second Growth Spruce. Second Growth Spruce Timber is a renewable resource we harvest from forests that were previously commercially harvested. The Lumber is high quality, a big step above what you will find in your local lumber yard. The Timber is straight, small tight knots, and perfectly consistent in its quality.
