About HOD Interiors
Shannon is a Chicago-based interior designer who has merged her background in design and art to create distinct interiors that re-imagine the possibilities of mixing modern and traditional details to create timeless design. Shannon collaborates with clients to achieve a balance of functional and beautiful design. A native of the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, Shannon received her BFA in Interior Design from Harrington Institute of Interior Design in Chicago, IL. She has acquired a wide array of skills during her several years with The Kohler Company doing kitchen and bath design and Baker Furniture designing Living Areas, Dining Rooms, and Bedrooms. In 2014 Shannon earned the title of LEED Green Associate and is now accredited to work on projects striving to achieve USGBC's LEED Green Certification.

| EXQUISITELY ACCESSIBLE MASTER BATHROOM REMODEL | Jun 2014 | This Master Bathroom remodel was done with every intention for the owners to be able to use this space no matter what stage of life they may be in. Universal and Accessible design principles played a main role in the design for this space. The Kohler Elevance Rising Wall Bath features enables my client to safely soak in the bath while enjoying the Kohler Bubblemassage Hydrotherapy. In the shower we added a fold down shower seat so the client can use it when needed and simply fold it out of the way when they are done. With the addition of rich marble tile, imperal white danby countertops, and a truly custom hand made mosaic detail this space is a true reflection of the clients personality and style. | $80k | Highland Park, IL |
