The actual contractors are nice guys but so-so at best, though biggest complaints come from the subcontracted work. Things are still in waiting to finish now after predicted completion date. Certain portions of the job scope were not set up to our demands causing the installation of top quality material without accomplishing the goals of the installation as well as causing extra costs to us due to faults in the installation. Components of another project came in faulty and were not properly inspected before installation requiring reinstallation after being nearly completed (and I had to ensure myself this was to get done by going to the subcontractor and pressing the issue which is what i thought I paid the Contractors for). There are components that can be installed and should be due to their location and i would think a want to make sure the material doesn't wind up damaged or injuring either of my children in the house but remains uncompleted due to what is my best guess an attempt to not pay the sub for multiple trips so its become our responsibility to keep it protected until such time as they come and finish the job that has already been paid for. There has been no really reliable communication since the problems have surfaced and there is an attempt to quell my communication with the subcontractors which i never would have been contacting had the contractors done their job in the first place, this includes me inquiring about the amount refunded for repeatedly damaged material to insure i don't end up paying for them to fix their mess ups. And now the money that I have over paid due to taking away portions of the job like the previously mentioned repeatedly damaged material, and the inability to receive an undamaged replacement, is being held hostage until a signed form of completion is done on my part, though I'm not going to sign anything until they actually finish the job that seems to have drastically slowed once that they were paid in full. The actual completion of the project as a whole has yet to happen as of 03/14/2017. The project was started 11/05/2016 and was scheduled by contract to be finished and on our end completely paid for by 12/30/2016. We kept our end up and have paid in full per contract. This is a roughly 78,000 project.

Brad at Squared Away Construction was extremely professional. His team was friendly and took the time to explain how they were going to make repairs. They used the best materials and the finished product was breathtaking. It was refreshing. Price and quality was 5 stars. -- Christopher

Moore Home destroyed by May Tornado-Full Restoration | Jan 2014 | Full restoration-Tore down existing home to frame and rebuilt. The homeowner's insurance adjuster originally stated $18k in damages to home sustained from the tornado. After analysis of the property thoroughly I convinced the insurance company to bring out a structural engineer, his 10 page write up confirmed our findings. The dwelling needed full restoration. We removed the roof, brick, sheetrock, flooring, and all fixtures. Provided mold remediation to the affected areas and revitalized a property that once was condemned by the City of Moore. The newly wed homeowners now live very happily in their updated home, which is "more beautiful than it was the day they moved in!" | $108k | Moore, OK |
