Had a great, simple experience with Chuck who wired and installed 4 ceiling fans in our home. After calling a few different electricians on Porch, Able had the best rate (by far!) and was available on the weekend, something that we were looking for so we wouldn't have to take time off from work to have the job done. He took the time to walk us through his process, pointing out possible situations that may arise, based on the design of our home. It was understood that he may have to cut small holes into the drywall to wire the fans to the switch. We understood enough about wiring and our house structure to understand that this was necessary. He was able to schedule us within a couple of weeks and had no problem providing us with his licensing and insurance info in advance. He arrived promptly and with all of the tools/equipment required to do the job. After inspecting our house, he presented us with all of the alternative ways to get the job done (wiring to switch vs. remote, etc.). He was very clear about what everything would entail and gave his recommendations, which was very appreciated. Regarding the drywall, Chuck was careful to only cut as little as was necessary and only when it was necessary and we are able to easily patch it ourselves (he did offer tips to help simplify that process). As the day progressed, he let us know that he'd only have enough time to install 3 of the 4 fans and worked with our schedules to return ASAP to finish the 4th. He only charged for the 3 that were installed and upon returning to finish the job, collected payment for the 4th. We had a concern about the operation of 1 fan after the first day and Chuck was happy to make adjustments when he returned to wire the 4th. It's been a week since the job was complete and we could not be happier to finally have some air circulation in our home! Already we've been able to use our AC less and be more comfortable in general. We recommend Chuck at Able Electric!

Stay Away!!! Do not hire this contractor for any services. I hired him to install a ceiling fan in my home 7/13. He destroyed my ceiling by making 4 fist size holes in order to hook-up electrical wire. I had to spend additional 300 dollars to hire another contractor fix the holes created by him. He is completely unprofessional person and has absolutely no idea on how to install a fan.
