Florala installed the HVAC system on my newly built home, and the experience has been very concerning. The condenser they installed was mislabeled and did not match the tonnage shown on the county-approved permit documents. Instead of acknowledging this upfront, they initially blamed the county inspector for not catching their error. When a technician finally came out, critical setup items still weren’t done - including failing to connect the dehumidification control wire and leaving the system configured to the wrong capacity. As a result, indoor humidity has been stuck around 60–65%, which is high enough to contribute to mold growth if not corrected. Even worse, communication has been extremely poor. Multiple emails requesting clarification, a correction plan, and a commissioning visit went unanswered. Between the mislabeled unit, configuration mistakes, humidity issues, and lack of communication, I cannot recommend Florala for HVAC installation or service. Their work and responsiveness have caused unnecessary stress and wasted time.

Jason Deese, the owner or Florala, quit our job at 60%. DO NOT USE this company unless you too, want an unfinished job... I quote Jason's email from 9/13/2021 "I don’t have any crews that can come back to your project.We started a large commercial job that will run thru the end of the year and it’s taking all my electricians and then some. " Well isn't that special Jason? You have been paid for a job that's unfinished. I will be hiring a professional to finish your mess. I have had a whole lot of remodel and new build work done by Jason and the team at Southeast and it is a huge relief to have a partner whom you can trust both their handshake and their work. You can have my word that they will be a company you'll be glad you did business with.

I googled and found these guys for a decently priced service call. The worker that came out was very friendly and knowledgeable, providing me with as much info as possible.
