Fascia boards rotting - need replacement/repair/paint/seal as appropriate. House is 3161 square feet, two stories tall.

Had roofer and painter do the last replacement when I had roof repaired. Painter used cedar which is holding up well. Roofer apparently used pine which is rotting. Would like to go to cedar, treated hardwood, or other surface to prevent continued rotting issues.
