Basement, This is an old home built in 1890. During the pre-purchase home inspection, it was noted that the main floor is sagging where a wooden support wall below in the basement has degraded some. I would like to replace this wall with other supports (possibly a beam?) to slowly raise the floor up. There are other issues in the home to be addressed including walls/ceilings and windows. I would like to get the home back in good/excellent condition. There may be additional projects as part of this, including some plumbing and possibly a kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Thank you.
